So, I started by just window shopping, you know, the usual. I was just browsing, not really planning to buy anything, but then I saw it – this sleek, beautiful watch. The JLC Master Ultra Thin. I was immediately drawn to its thin profile. I mean, it’s only 9.4mm thick!
- First off, I had to try it on. The 39mm diameter felt perfect on my wrist, and the lug-to-lug measurement of 45.7mm was just right.
- I dug around a bit and found out that JLC is a big deal in the high-end Swiss watch world. I didn’t know that before, to be honest.
Then, I started thinking, should I get the Master Ultra Thin Moon or the Master Calendar? Both are so classy. But that sub-seconds dial paired with the moon phase on the Moon version, it just looked so cool.

I even checked out an authorized retailer’s site. You know, just to see. They were offering a 5-year warranty, which is a good thing, I guess. Now, about that dial. Introducing a new color to such an iconic watch, that takes guts. But they did it, and it looks amazing. The moon window, the way it’s designed, it’s just so elegant.
