So, I got this thing for watches, right? And I’ve been eyeballin’ the OMEGA Speedmaster for a while now. But, man, those things are pricey! Then I stumbled upon this CopyOMEGA Speedmaster 38mm “original order” thingamajig. Figured, why not give it a shot?
First off, I started lookin’ around online. You know, just browsing through different shops, seein’ what’s out there. It’s like when you’re lookin’ for the best tomatoes at the market – you gotta shop around. I compared prices, read some reviews, the whole nine yards. Some of these online stores, they looked kinda sketchy, but I finally found a couple that seemed legit.
Then I dug deeper. Checked out what other folks were sayin’ about these “original order” watches. Seems like most people were pretty happy with ’em. They said stuff like, “it’s well-made” and “looks just like the real deal.” There are some differences, of course. This one’s got a stainless steel case, and some come with gold accents. It’s powered by something called an OMEGA Calibre 3330 – sounds fancy, huh? I guess it’s a good movement, but not the top-notch one. Inside, it’s the OMEGA Calibre 3330 movement. Now, I’m no watch expert, but from what I gather, it’s a decent movement. It’s not the same as what’s in the real Speedmaster, but it gets the job done.
Found out these CopyOMEGAs are made for both men and women. They got all sorts of styles, with stainless steel, gold, or a mix of both. Each one’s got that Calibre 3330 movement. Not the real deal, but hey, it tells time.
After doin’ all that research, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one. Waited a few days, and bam, it showed up at my door. Ripped open that box like a kid on Christmas morning. And you know what? It’s actually pretty nice! It’s got a good weight to it, feels solid. The buttons and the little dials, they all work. And it looks pretty darn close to the real Speedmaster, at least to my untrained eye.
I strapped that bad boy on my wrist and wore it around for a few days. Felt good, looked good. I even got a couple of compliments on it. Nobody could tell it wasn’t the real deal, which is kinda cool, I guess. It’s like wearin’ a fancy suit that you got on sale – you look sharp, but you didn’t have to sell a kidney to afford it.

If you’re thinkin’ about gettin’ one, just do your homework first, like I did. And remember, it’s not the real thing, but it’s a pretty good copycat.
Is it worth it?
For me, yeah. It scratched that Speedmaster itch without breakin’ the bank. Plus, it’s a conversation starter. People see it and they’re like, “Whoa, nice watch!” And I just smile and say, “Thanks.” I don’t tell ’em it’s a copy, though. That’s our little secret.
