Okay, so today I’m tackling this Prada Galleria Saffiano Special Edition bag. It’s a remake, not the real deal, but I wanted to see how close I could get to the original. I’ve got all my tools lined up, leather pieces cut, and I’m feeling pretty good about this one.
First things first, I started by prepping the leather. This Saffiano leather is tough, so I had to make sure my cuts were clean and precise. I used my trusty rotary cutter and a metal ruler to get those straight edges. Once all the pieces were cut, I skived the edges that needed to be thinner, mostly the parts that would overlap or fold over. This makes the seams less bulky and gives the bag a sleeker look.
